On either side of the vestibule was a pilaster that served as supports for the floor joists of the upper floor.
The courtyard and closed tablinum can be seen on the right.
On the east side of the courtyard was the kitchen bench, and on the south side were the steps to the upper floor in blocks of Sarno stone.

According to PPM, found in the north-west corner was the mouth of the underlying cistern for collecting rainwater which was collected by terracotta pipes.

Painted wall plaster from south wall of closed tablinum. The room was decorated with a black zoccolo or dado.
The middle zone of the south wall had a red central aedicula with a hanging garland and the side panels were black separated by thin painted pilasters, yellow frieze. The upper zone of the wall was also painted black.
